چکیده

Abstract Lyocell dopes for cellulosic fiber manufacture, i.e., cellulose solutions in N -methylmorpholine- -oxide monohydrate, are commonly stabilized by propyl gallate, or alternatively recently proposed gallic acid amide derivatives. In this study, the analysis of stabilizer and its major degradation products, ellagic ellagoquinone, is investigated. The stabilizer-derived compounds readily extracted from with polar aprotic solvents without solvent interference. Phospholipid metabolism in cancer cells monitored by 31P NMR spectroscopy.

Addition of choline, ethanolamine, or hemicholinium-3 (a choline kinase inhibitor) to the perfusate of human breast cancer cells monitored by 31P NMR spectroscopy resulted in significant changes to phosphomonoester (PME) and phosphodiester (PDE) signals. These results enable us to assign the PMEs to phosphcholine (PC) and phosphoethanolamine (PE), the PDEs to glycerophosphorylcholine and glycer...

Quantitative analysis of phospholipids by 31P-NMR.

High-field 31P nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy was used to quantitate phospholipids in mixtures in organic solvents. The sample is dissolved in chloroform-methanol and analyzed at 161.7 MHz with decoupling of the protons. Signals were identified using authentic compounds, and their relative distribution was measured in mole percent. The method has good accuracy and reproducibility, and ...

Gallic Acid derivatives from mezoneuron benthamianum leaves.

The leaves of Mezoneuron benthamianum yielded methyl gallate and gallic acid as the constituents responsible for its antibacterial activity. (-)-Shikimic acid-3-O-gallate, 1-O-methyl-D-chiro-inositol, (-)-epicatechin, (-)-epicatechin-3-gallate and kaempferol-3- (6?-galloyl) glucoside were also isolated. The minimum inhibitory concentrations of these compounds against some Gram-positive and Gram...

Protein analysis by 31p NMR spectroscopy in ionic liquid: quantitative determination of enzymatically created cross-links.

Cross-linking of β-casein by Trichoderma reesei tyrosinase (TrTyr) and Streptoverticillium mobaraense transglutaminase (Tgase) was analyzed by (31)P nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in ionic liquid (IL). According to (31)P NMR, 91% of the tyrosine side chains were cross-linked by TrTyr at high dosages. When Tgase was used, no changes were observed because a different cross-linking ...

Differentiation of chiral phosphorus enantiomers by P and H NMR spectroscopy using amino acid derivatives as chemical solvating agents.

The ability of commercially available amino acid derivatives, especially Fmoc-Trp(Boc)-OH, to differentiate enantiomers of chiral phosphonates, phosphinates, phosphates, phosphine oxides, and phosphonamidates is demonstrated with (31)P, (13)C, and (1)H NMR spectroscopy. The chiral differentiation provided a rapid and convenient method for measuring the enantiomeric purity of these phosphorus co...
